This is a catch up because the internet connections haven't been that good. We had two days in Lisbon exploring the city. Visited Cathedral Se built in the 18th century on the ruins of the original cathedral which was built in 1175 but destroyed by a massive earthquake, said a prayer and lit candles for David, Emma Washer and Noel. Went back there for Mass on Palm Sunday. High Mass, magnificent choir, very close to a Latin Mass. Visited t the tile museum which is in an old convent. It must have been a very well endowed convent. Its walls were adorned with
Old Masters and the chapels probably benefited from Portuguese colonial actions in South America and beyond.More photos to follow. These ones, Fatima shrine in the cathedral, one of the very ornate gold altars in the old convent, Cynthia and Win enjoying a Tuktuk ride.
