On Sunday we took a day trip to Finisterre and Costa da Morte. Had we another few days we might have walked there, but Barelona and home await. Finisterre is the last place on the Way, whichever route you took. It is the only route that starts in Santiago so it's an add on. On the way we went to an ancient bridge, Pontemaceira, Muxia on the Coast of Death (shipwrecks), Finisterre village, and the lighthouse. On the way home we stopped at Ezaro's waterfall and at the large granary (Horreo) at Carnota.
At Finisterre we threw our Palm Sunday "bouquets" into sea. We had carried them with us on the Camino . I left my NZ scallop tied to a pilgrim memorial . Molly Moo got the last stamp in my credential.
