Getting closer

A gentle walk today between Caldas de Reis and Pontecesures, mainly through forests. Our goal was to find the school that invites pilgrims to call in and tell students about their country. We only passed one school but there was no invitation banner out for those passing. Leaving Caldas de Reis we passed over another ancient but pretty bridge. The Camino was quite a bit quieter today, no large groups of people, just some noisy Americans. I have decided that NZers are very quiet and respectful in comparison to people from some other countries. Jay had a lovely 2nd breakfast of bacon and eggs along the way. Yesterday Jay started reading All the Broken Places, the sequel to The Boy In Striped Pyjamas. The book is now finished! Fortunately there is a good bookshop in Santiago. We have just two days to go!
