This morning we left Tui looking forward to an easy 17kms walk in the spring sunshine. The day didn't disappoint. At one point the unmistakable sound of Fats Domino wafted out to greet us. Another reminder of growing up listening to my brother's favourite artists. Our route was very picturesque. We passed over medieval Roman bridges, walking alongside streams and along woodland tracks. At Orbenelle we opted to take an alternative route along the Louro River until we reached Porrino. Today's route was easy. All that changes tomorrow. The distance is the same but we have some decent bills to climb on our way to Redondela.
Photos from our walk. A food storage hut where dry goods, corn and game is stored. Many are still in use. Molly Moo and Constantine checking the sleeping arrangements, "we wonder where Grandma is sleeping? This bed is for us?"
