We started off the day by getting a taxi a bit closer to our final destination. We had been walking for a few minutes when Grandma figured out that her phone was still in the taxi. After she called the taxi back with my phone we continued on walking. A few hours later we were walking under a bridge and looked back and what do you know, no Edwina (the person we are walking with). Grandma walking back to find Edwina while I stayed back and ate meringues, after a while Grandma found her and we continued walking, as it turns out Edwina had walked into the forest. When we finally got to the hotel we were exhausted and happy to get into our rooms. When it was dinner time me and Grandma walked down to the supermarket and got some food. We walked back and made some spaghetti and meatballs. While we ate them, we ended up having extra so we shared with some of the other people doing the Camino, their names are Nicholas and José (2). After we finished dinner we had ice cream which we offered to share with Nicholas and José (2), whom thanked us but declined. While we were washing dishes we met another person called Don from the Isle of Wight, he was very willing to have some ice cream, after he had finished he came up to us and asked why we didn't eat it ourselves. Grandma responded that she didn't want me to eat it all because she doesn't want to get told off by my parents. After I told Don that Grandma was my Grandmother, he jokingly said she was very cruel for not giving all the ice cream, which I agreed to. As we were heading back, I went the wrong way so Don said "First she doesn't feed you and now she abandons you? This sounds like something you could write a book about", so I decided I might do just that.
Overall we had a very good day 👍
Sounds like another great day and it sounds like your Grandmother is looking after you very well :)
Lovely to chat again this morning and see your smiling faces too ❤️
