The Three Wise Men!

Tomar to Cortica is a walk of 25ks through eucalyptus and cork forests, olive groves, and scrubland. A couple of very steep climbs interspersed with undulating hills. Oranges left out for pilgrims. There was never any worries about getting lost as there is usually someone to point out the way. Along the way we met the three wise men! Three very exuberant gentlemen from different countries journeying together. We met up with them and Peter and Sue again when we reached Cortica that evening. The people you meet along the way is what makes the Camino so special.

Photos. Cork forest. Portugal is a major producer of cork. One of the many village churches we passed on the way to Cortica. Picnic lunch. Our very nice accommodation in Cortica, except for there being no door to the bathroom.
